For the women’s team, Cara Pellichia secured her third consecutive title for the pole vault. The team finished 8th. The Sabres lost Saturday 4-2 against the Canadiens. Jiri Kulich and Alex Tuch scored for the team. UPL had 25 saves on 28 shots. In better news, the best team in buffalo, the bandits picked up a 9-7 win on the road to take down the 2nd place saskatchewan Rush, furthering their 1st place lead. Josh Byrne finished with 6 points as he looks to go back-to-back MVPs. The bandits currently have a 2 game lead for first place as they look to have a good chance to make it three straight championships.
